The former president's Family Member Seeks Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

This young athlete has considerable online following

The young golfer will have numerous high-profile supporters when she makes her professional golf debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, received a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns several courses worldwide and frequently competes against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play tight competitions," she revealed.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just stay calm."

"He basically suggested to play and enjoy myself," she continued.

"To me, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, so he's quite busy."

As an amateur, the golfer has competed in a mere three competitions recently and maintains ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she can get advice from golf legend, who is dating her mother.

"He represents the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.

"And he's a superior person. He suggested me to play, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."

She'll challenge some of the biggest names in professional golf at this tournament, including second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA stated that involving Kai exposes golf to wider groups, particularly reaching youth audiences.

The young star boasts substantial online presence and just introduced a personal clothing and lifestyle company.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
