In a unexpected partnership that defies traditional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "A mysterious confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of prohibited practices and monstrous changes echo through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret sect.

The questline centers on "strange experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Features

Players who finish the quest will acquire an unique katana together with multiple objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
